LEGO, maker of toy plastic bricks used to construct various objects, and minifigure figurines, which look like people with interchangeable parts, has filed a lawsuit against Thaddeus Dillon, owner of Big Papa’s Collectibles, for copying its minifigure figurines.

Late Artist’s Estate Sues McDonald’s For Copyright Infringement
McDonald’s is facing a copyright lawsuit from the estate of Dash Snow, a graffiti artist who died in 2009, after artwork that is allegedly similar to Snow’s was discovered is several of the fast food chain’s restaurants around the world, including here in the U.S. Snow’s work has been featured in museums and galleries, as well as auctioned off by fine art auction house Sotheby’s.

On September 13th, a New York district court judge granted a motion for summary judgment in favor of Louis Vuitton and dismissed a trademark suit against the high-end fashion brand from footwear startup LVL XIII.
